Career Money Life helps companies build unique, personalised and fulfilling career experiences for their people. We do this through our unique, digital, benefits platform. Within our platform people can select the providers and services that suit them best, meaning that for any career experience area – from health and wellbeing, to employee assistance to career transition and everything in between – they’ll get to personalise their experiences, be happier and more engaged as a result. The employee experience is more like online shopping than an internal HR process, as this is what employees are expecting of their organisations today.

Since our inception in 2014, we have:
♦ Saved HR teams and businesses thousands of dollars and months of their time by enabling them to manage their benefits suppliers and admin through out platform
♦ Empowered thousands of employees to choose their own career benefits; enabling them to take charge of their career and build their own personalised experiences
♦ Partnered with some of Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most well-known companies, including Virgin Australia
♦ Received a prestigious Silver Medal in the Service Provider category of the Human Resource Director Awards. This award acknowledged our pioneering work in helping both employees and HR teams get the most out of their benefits programs.

Our story began, back in 2013,when the founder, Sandy Hutchison, formerly the Asia Pacific HR director for Marsh & McLennan Companies, was made redundant. Sandy saw first hand how life-changing career transition services can be, and realised that this was the opportunity to ensure that others, forever more, had access to breadth of services and assistance and that HR teams could easily offer this.

With this in mind, Sandy began work on Career Money Life, with the goal to empower employees to design their own “unique and customised career journey”.

The platform works by having employers sign on and determine the types of HR programs they will offer, from EAPs, Parental Leave, Retirement, Health and Well Being, Learning and Development to Career Transition programs, offering up services to cover an employee’s career, money, and life.

This includes services such as career coaching, interview practice, business startup advice, board courses, and mentoring; under the money banner are services including financial planning advice, budget management, debt consolidation, and insurance advice; and classed under the life banner are the likes of medical health checks, stress management, mindfulness training, and yoga.

Within the scope of a program, employers are then able to select specific services for employees to access through a branded platform, or leave it to them to choose based on their own requirements or wants.

In 3 short years Career Money Life has gone from an idea, to a thriving business, having build a highly advanced custom designed online platform, vetted and established a community of over 300 service providers in Australia NZ, Singapore and the Philippines and provided great career experiences to many employees.

The business is now serving an impressive client base, including large airlines, fast-growing startups, financial services firms, government departments, a national mining company, as well as medium size businesses.

Career Money LIfe has worked with an agile model, quickly responding to clients needs as they have come on board. As well we continue to innovate, adding a content management system through which we now publish program-specific content, provide clients in depth analytics and reporting functions, including NPS ratings. We also build in payment functionality to enable split payments between the organisation and employee for those wishing to supplement the company contributions. Since the start of the year we have also done a major website relaunch and gained considerable media coverage, and most importantly, we maintain a 4.92 (out of 5 Stars) feedback rating from the employees using the site.
