In March 2012, USANA Health Sciences launched the USANA True Health Foundation (THF), a non-profit organization that provides the most critical human necessities—nutrition, clothing, shelter, medical assistance, and health education—to those who are suffering or in need, around the globe.
In 2016 alone, USANA’s True Health Foundation:
a. Raised more than $2.6M through donations.
b. Teamed up with corporate partner Women’s Tennis Association to kick off its Aces for Humanity campaign, raising more than $25,000.
c. Hosted the fund-raising Champions for Change 5K during USANA’s International Convention. All proceeds were donated to the Foundation and in 2016 the race/event brought in an astonishing $167,113.
d. 3200 supply boxes—which equals 153,600 meals for those in need—were packed during convention.
e. Provided 6.2 million meals across Eastern Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America, Haiti, Nepal and the United States.
f. Supplied over $180,000 to support health education programs, food and home construction.
g. Gave $738,722 in Usanimals children's multivitamins to orphanages, clinics and mercy networks throughout the world.
h. Assisted in relief efforts in Haiti after Hurricane Matthew in October. Through its partnership with International Relief Teams and the Children's Hunger Fund, THF provided $80,000 to assist in relief efforts.
i. Took humanitarian trip to Baja, Mexico, where they spent a week serving a poverty-stricken area including an orphanage and the surrounding community.
